Frequently asked questions
Everything supporters usually ask before sponsoring a box. Contact us if your question isn't covered.
- Who do the boxes support?
- BlessedDressed™ primarily serves women, children, and families affected by crisis such as domestic hardship, housing transitions and sudden life changes. Support also reaches individuals referred through trusted community partners who are seeking safety, stability, and a genuine fresh start.
- What is included in a box?
- Each option on the Sponsor A Box page lists its contents. For example, the Carry & Go Box includes 12 emergency essentials for the first 24–72 hours, and the Full Reset Box includes personal care items, household starter items, a grocery gift card, a utility support contribution when applicable, and an encouragement card.
- What is the difference between a box and a contribution?
- The Carry & Go and Full Reset options purchase a specific box with the listed contents. The Power, Connected, Grocery and Housing options are contributions toward that named type of support rather than a physical box with itemised contents.
- How does utilities assistance work?
- Utility support is included as a contribution within the Full Reset Box, when applicable, as part of its listed contents.
- Can box contents change?
- Yes — exact brands, colours and individual items may adjust slightly based on availability. The purpose and value of each box stays the same.
- Is my payment a one-time purchase?
- Yes. Every sponsorship is a one-time payment in BMD. There are no recurring charges, preselected add-ons or optional fees.
